Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity

Full-time hospital employed position

BC/BE in ER, IM or FP

12- 12hr shifts a month

$150 per hour. Compensated for additional shifts.

Full family health and dental

12 shifts per year vacation, 10 days of CME plus expenses.

6 Bed ER with an average of 6,000 annual visits.

Nights staffed with 1 physician/1 nurse; Day staffed with 1 physician/2 nurses.

ER also has a paramedic that works in the emergency room during the day to assist with patients, does intercept in the field and is available to facilitate transfers to tertiary medical center.

The Practice: Seeking BC Internal Medicine physician to serve as Program Director! The program is accredited through the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) It is affiliated with the Appalachian Osteopathic Postgraduate Training Institute Consortium (A-OPTIC). The program will accept six (6) residents to each incoming class. Physician (MD/DO) must be board certified in internal medicine or an internal medicine subspecialty. Physician must have practiced in internal medicine or an internal medicine subspecialty for a minimum of three (3) years. The Administrator is responsible for the overall direction of home health operations & clinical services. The Administrator establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives for home health services that meet and promote the standards of quality and contribute to the total organization and philosophy.

Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist licensed in the state of Texas

Bachelor’s degree, Masters a plus.

Minimum five years’ (5) experience in home health care organization required

Minimum five years’ (4) of recent home health management/leadership experience required

Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel

Team Builder: Passion for teaching, supporting and guiding staff

Strong Leadership Skills & Solutions Oriented / Problem Solver, Adaptive, Change Agent, Mentor/Coach & Supportive while holding people accountable

Demonstrated success in building teams through strong people management skills and the ability to network

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Has excellent observation, verbal, and written communication skills

Experience at developing external professional relationships, working with the community and in business development.

Experience developing business plans, budgets or been part of the process developing fiscal year business/operational plans / budgets and execution strategies.

Able to interpret financials & performance data, evaluate against current goals, adapt, plan & monitor

Experience with OASIS and QAPI

Strong Medicare Background (Adult)

Results oriented individual, with a proven & verifiable history of results

Servant Leadership qualities

EMR Experience
